Our Story

COYABLU Craft Tequila Cocktails is the creative and passionate work of our CEO, Nicole. The idea for COYABLU was born during a summer of watching everyone at the pool drinking a particular convenient canned carbonated adult beverage. Let’s call them...uh, Bluepaws. Bluepaws were everywhere, but malt-based, rather than the tequila she preferred. A search for a quality canned tequila cocktail yielded nothing, and led her to formulate her own.

COYABLU is made with the highest-quality blue agave tequila blanco. Grown only in Mexico to truly earn the name ‘tequila,’ blue agave must ripen for 8 to 12 years before local jimadores harvest the plants by hand. It’s distilled into craft tequilas that are then enjoyed by people around the world. We’ve imported it, and enhanced it with the lightest of sparkling water and modern, intriguing flavor combinations sure to delight any sophisticated consumer.

COYABLU’s complex flavor profiles and delicious finish are the result of that passion, hand-crafting and hard work. They’re so fresh - just like you’d expect from a cocktail mixed for you at a restaurant or bar. A team of small-business suppliers across the United States contributed to this labor of love, and it’s now ready for your enjoyment. Whether that’s an afternoon at the pool, a 5 o’clock boardroom celebration, an evening at the ballpark, or a night on the town, COYABLU is ready to enhance your life’s moments.
